Bab Ajeer is a government-backed SaaS platform focused on temporary employment and contracting in Saudi Arabia. The system allows users to create resumes, apply for vacancies, and receive online contracts. Employers use it to publish opportunities and manage incoming applicants. My role as a Product Designer involved improving complex user journeys, enhancing platform logic, and designing new features — including an AI tool that generates CVs automatically. I worked hand-in-hand with developers and product owners to align design, functionality, and regulatory requirements.

Bab Ajeer faces several key challenges: extreme traffic surges during peak seasons like Hajj, strict compliance with Saudi labor regulations, and the need to support multilingual experiences. As a Product Designer, I worked on improving platform scalability from the UX side, optimizing key flows, and redesigning the resume-creation process — one of the most painful user journeys. Through user analysis (including Hotjar recordings), we discovered that users often spent over 30 minutes creating their CVs and frequently sent their CV documents to customer support for help. This insight formed the foundation for the feature work that followed.

To solve these issues, I designed an AI-powered CV generator that allows users to upload their resume file and automatically generate an in-app CV in under a minute. Throughout the project, I collaborated closely with developers and product owners to refine logic, ensure data accuracy, and fit the feature within existing workflows and regulatory constraints. The result was a faster, more intuitive experience that significantly reduced user effort and support load — improving both usability and platform efficiency.
